I regret to the fullest extent my realtor recommending Bernard. I wish I would have recorded every single phone call with Bernard because he is an absolutely shady LIAR. He straight up told me we wouldn’t qualify for a VA loan because of debts I have since TX is a common property state. So even though I don’t have an income due to being a stay at home full time parent to a special needs child, they still have to consider my debts. Perfectly fine! We were okay with that because we had a significant amount to put down for a conventional loan! We ended the phone call agreeing with that. We kept having issues with inspections not being done as they should. Because HE PUT IT IN AS A CONVENTIONAL LOAN to the inspection company h. Once I called him out on it over text and email, he had the NERVE to call me and ask “what makes you think you don’t have a VA loan huh? You’re required to pay for a b and c which are required for VA loans.” I was stupid and didn’t get him on recording saying that. From then on out he didn’t answer me whatsoever because I warned him I would NEVER answer his call due to him actively lying. He ends up sending an email denying to provide me any paperwork that I’ve asked for because of how bad HE messed up. I have had TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars of stuff I have to pay for, stuff the VA would NEVER approve for a loan because he LIED. Things that were clear as day on the inspection and the inspection company made clear over email too and I made sure to CC Bernard in them. I’m not done with him. I have been bed ridden due to cancer for a hot minute but I won’t be forever. I need everyone to know that IF you work with Bernard and/or Dylan Hernandez, never talk to them on the phone. ALWAYS do it over text for email. If they are persistent, record it if you have to. Protect yourself from them because they can potentially destroy your lives and put you into so much debt you can’t get out. For the vets right?
